TNDTE Result and DOTE Results Information – If you are a student and you are interested in studying under the Government of Tamil Nadu in the technical field, you should have an idea about the courses that are offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. INTRADOTE Polytechnic Results
Today, there are about four hundred and sixty four colleges under TNDTE offering this course in Diploma, Post Diploma and Certificate ones. These courses spread out to various branches when it comes to Engineering and Technology. There are 10 such institutes that offer Hotel Management and Catering Technology courses that include 3 year diploma courses and are affiliated to the Directorate.
The eligibility criteria for entering INTRADOTE or TNDTE in to the polytechnic colleges is that every student has to be a 10th Standard pass and for those students who are interested in studying in the Catering Institutions, they have to be a 12th Standard pass. Before a candidate starts the admission procedure, he/she can get the information relating to requirements of age, marks and number of available seats from the leading newspapers. This will help the students in preparing which course they want to take up.
Candidates can even have lateral entry into the TNDTE diploma course if they have been an ITI student for 2 years at least and they have to be an 12th standard board pass out. They can join the second year of the three yearlong diploma course directly and this falls under the Lateral Entry System for all the Polytechnics. The only fact to be considered is that the intake of students is restricted to only 20% of the students that were accepted in the first year.
If a candidate is interested in studying in a post diploma course, there is no age bar. The person however, has to possess a diploma certificate and they can get admission into any post diploma course under the government or the governments aided polytechnic college.
There are usually three semesters and the second to final semester is held in two parts.
TNDTE Time Table and TNDTE Exam Updates
The theory exam is taken during October and last year it was on 13th October 2015 and the practical will be around September as last year it was taken on 29th September 2015. The first semester will be in October, for example, last year it was held on 26th October 2015. The 1 semester to final examination will be held on two halves. - After visiting INTRADOTE website Enter your Register Number, Date of Birth and Security Question
- Now your TNDTE Result will get displayed in website.
TNDTE Result Will Be As Follows
1st semester: the TNDTE results for October and November will be published by December as last year it was declared on 21st December 2015.
2nd semester: the TNDTE results for this one will be published on the same date as above.
3rd semester: the TNDTE results will be declared during the month of May.

TNDTE Diploma Courses
For the engineering course, there are three kinds of courses that you can take up.
- The first one is a full time course having duration of 3 years and there will be six semesters.
- There is a sandwich course too which takes about three and a half years and there are 7 semesters that you have to complete. The 4th and the 7th semester under this course trains the students with on the spot industrial training that can be as long as six months to even a whole year. The students have to appear in industrial training examinations after every six months.
- There is a part time course that will be four years long and there are eight semesters in this course. Every semester will include 16 weeks of study that have to total up to 35 hours.
The candidate has to be a pass out of any of the following to be eligible for admission into engineering courses:
- They have to S.S.L.C exam for the board of secondary examination under Tamil Nadu.
- They can be a pass from the Anglo Indian High School Examination under a Higher Secondary course from Tamil Nadu.
- They can be a Matriculation Exam pass of Tamil Nadu.
- Any other examination that is considered equivalent by the Board of Secondary examination of Tamil Nadu.
There will be certain other requirements along with these which will be prescribed by the board time to time. There is however no age limit on the students for this course.
TNDTE examinations will be taken on semester basis and the successful candidates who qualify the exams with 75% and above marks will be granted first class with distinction. The students who get marks that are equivalent to 60|% and above, they will be considered as First Class pass. All other successful candidates will be considered to have the second class.
A candidate will only be considered to have passed successfully if he/she has got a minimum 40% mark in all the theory papers and 50% in all the practical papers combined together. There will be marks given for attending the classes and there will also be internal examinations that will be conducted to assess the students for a certain period of time. There will be project works that are to be done by the candidates as per the regulations of the board.
TNDTE Revaluation Exam and TNDTE Revaluation Results
The candidates who have failed in the examination or have got lesser marks in TNDTE examinations than expected, they can apply for revaluation of the result. These are the few things that you need to do if you are applying for the revaluation of result. You have to pay a few of Rs. 100 for getting the scanned copy of each of your answer scripts and if you wish to revalue it, you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 400 for each paper. The last week of December 2015 is the last date of submitting the form for scanned copy and for revaluation form, the last date is January last week.
